Tunnel Falls along the famous Eagle Creek Trail in the Columbia Gorge National Recreation Area.
The falls is so named because the trail passes through a tunnel carved behind the falls (barely visible in the center
left of the picture). Tunnel Falls is on the
East Fork of Eagle Creek. The Eagle Creek trail passes many significant waterfalls. I counted eleven to the point
just past Tunnel Falls, but of course that count depends on what exactly you consider a waterfall. There are four falls
with names on the trail map, but several of the unnamed ones were just as massive as the lower named falls.
